Garry Legg

First appointed 20 September 2023, Garry is a Chartered Town and Country Planner with a background in local government and the public sector, leading on strategic and local development, housing strategy and economic strategy matters, including their implementation.  He is currently Head of Strategy, Planning and Partnerships at South of Scotland Enterprise (SoSE).

Garry is a native of Annan and returned to raise his family in the region having studied and worked in the North West of England for many years.  His interests include the outdoors, nature and travel as well as cooking and various sports.

Garry was first appointed to the Board in September 2023.
