Wheatley Homes South recognised at national awards

Alongside Dumfries and Galloway Council, staff from Wheatley Homes South were recognised at a ceremony in Telford on Wednesday 5 October, for their role in supporting customers.

Alison Lamont, Head of Housing for Wheatley Homes South, said: “We’re delighted our work with key partners in the region has been recognised by the judges.

“We work closely with Dumfries & Galloway Council’s welfare and housing options team to support our most vulnerable customers. By working together we can meet the needs of tenants and give them the support and expert advice they need in these difficult times.

“We’ve supported hundreds of customers to help keep a roof over their heads and prevent eviction over the past two years. Winning this award is evidence that by working together we can do more than ever before to support customers in Dumfries and Galloway.”
