Alex Lamb

Managing Director

Alex is a vastly experienced and highly respected housing leader, having worked in the sector since 1995.

Starting her career as a Modern Apprentice with West Lothian Council, Alex has progressed through the ranks, working on the frontline and in senior management roles.

Alex moved to West Lothian Housing Partnership (WLHP) as a housing officer in 2013. She remained in this role as WLHP become part of Wheatley, Scotland’s leading housing, care and property-management.

She quickly progressed into senior leadership in 2017 as Head of Housing at WLHP and then subsequently Dunedin Canmore Housing Association. Experienced in transformation and change, organisational restructures and business migration, Alex led operational teams through to the successful formation of the East of Scotland Partnership, forming Wheatley Homes East.

As head of housing at Wheatley Homes East, she oversaw the extensive new-build and development programme in the east.

Alex was appointed interim Managing Director at Wheatley Homes South in March 2024.
