Weather warning update

The Met Office has this morning downgraded its weather warning from amber to yellow, but there is still a warning for heavy and persistent rain, which may lead to flooding and travel disruption.

Further outbreaks of rain will develop across the area during Sunday, clearing in the early hours of Monday.

Strong south westerly winds are also expected.

The safety of our staff is key – and some of our services will be disrupted as a result.

We will be carrying out emergency repairs only during this period.

We will provide an update on services around 10am on Monday (15 December).

For further details for disruption in the area, please check out the latest updates from Dumfries and Galloway Virtual Operations Support Team.
